Fisherman's Wharf (Arguably, the finest tourist trap in the world. But no one seems to mind. Lots of great shopping (including Pier 39) and restaurants with fantastic seafood. Lots of links from this site, and you can visit the S.S. Jeremiah O'Brien and the USS Pampanito at the attached Pier 45. The Blue & Gold Line (Alcatraz Tours) is also situated there.)
